Equifind are working with an exciting private equity business who are in the market for a qualified finance manager to help the team out for some short-term support.

This company is a brand name in the private equity world so you will be working in a business with a stellar reputation.

If you are interested in working for a few months in the private equity space and have a background in hitting the ground running, then please read on.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Manage the month-end close process, including timely preparation of accruals, prepayments, cross-charges and other adjustments
  • Maintain the entity balance sheets through monthly reconciliations in line with the month-end timetable
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packs, including variance analysis and precise commentary for senior stakeholders
  • Support cash management activities
  • Assist with the interim audit
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budgets and forecasts
  • Support regulatory capital monitoring and quarterly FCA reporting
  • Assist with transfer pricing activities
  • Manage intercompany recharges and cost allocations across international entities and business units
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting processes, with a particular focus on leveraging AI, automation and ERP functionality
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies across the finance function
  • Take a lead role in projects relating to requests by departmental stakeholders

Experience & Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 3-6 years PQE
  • Experience of working within private equity or asset management is highly preferable
  • Working knowledge of FRS 102
  • Strong excel and ERP systems experience
  • Be a self-starter and deliver reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Strong communication & excel skills

An international private equity business that has been in operation for over 30 years. The business has overseen investments in this time of over £15 billion.

With offices across the globe, you will be part of an international firm but still be part of a company that is entrepreneurial at heart.

The finance team is small and highly collaborative. You will work closely with the CFO on a daily basis for all reporting requirements. Culture and collaboration are key components to the business’ success.

This is predominantly an office-based role, but you will work from home on Fridays.

Daily Rate/Salary

This splendid opportunity for a finance manager will pay £75k-£85k pro rata depending on your experience and background.

We think this assignment will be for 3-4 months and ideally to start in September. Therefore, we will look at candidates on around two weeks’ notice period, who are interested in a short-length assignment.
