What You'll Do
Our Finance function sits at the center of how Connections allocates its time and resources. We’re looking for a Finance Manager with sharp financial instincts, high attention to detail, and the drive to take on a large scope quickly. You'll drive core FP&A execution—including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close support, executive reporting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis—while partnering with the VP, Finance to modernize the finance function through AI, automation, and scalable processes that improve speed, accuracy, and decision-making.

This is an entrepreneurial finance role in a growing organization, best suited for someone who is comfortable building structure, improving processes, and operating with urgency in an environment that is still scaling. If you want to modernize how a finance team works and see the impact of what you build, this is the seat to do it from.

- Partnering with Accounting to support a timely and accurate month-end close.
- Preparing monthly financial reporting packages.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
