We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a major, large-scale infrastructure project in the West Midlands on a 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, closing packs, and management information.
- Oversee Accounts Payable, supplier/subcontractor payments, and reconciliations.
- Manage project cash flow, treasury, collections, and payment forecasting.
- Review contractual payment terms, bonds, guarantees, and insurance requirements.
- Support month-end close, WIP calculations, and project cost reporting.
- Reconcile project costs with accounting and cost-control records.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, PAYE, and pension requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, commercial teams, and project management.
- Identify financial risks, opportunities, and areas for improved cost control.
