Finance Manager
Soho (Hybrid)
£48,000 - £55,000
We are looking for a Finance Manager or aspiring Finance Manager to join a well-established global talent agency to help them continue developing their accounting processes and systems. They represent some of the best behind-the-camera talent, including cinematographers, editors, producers, and costume designers.
Role:
This isn’t an ordinary Finance Manager role… You'll head up a small team with 2 juniors and will be hands-on across all aspects of bookkeeping and accounting. It will be your responsibility to help, shape, and expand the role to fit the demands of their growing company. We expect you to look after the accounting software and will support all aspects of the back-office functionality.

- Reconciling both payable and receivable accounts
- Liaising with agents and clients
- Ensuring that their members are paid on time
- General tasks including data preparation, general accounting, and administrative tasks
You will be given the opportunity to completely redesign the approach to manage client payments, ultimately creating a more robust system and happier clients. It will be down to you to make sure all agents have the information they need, payments are processed, and ensure they are providing a world-class service to the clients.
Experience:
We are looking for someone who has previous experience as a Senior bookkeeper or ideally, a Head of Accounts/similar position. You don’t need to hold AAT or ACCA qualifications, but it would be beneficial to have.

- Comfortable managing and developing more junior team members
- Significant use of spreadsheets
- Confident with Excel, and comfortable using Pivot tables and basic formulas such as Lookup
You should be a proactive problem solver, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure. You’ll have plenty of support available, but you should be comfortable working under your own initiative.
You will also need to be comfortable answering client queries and solving problems. You’ll need both excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience communicating at all levels.
