We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with strong technical finance expertise and a background in philanthropy, international development, NGOs, or the charitable sector on behalf of an incredible client.

Experience within a regranting organization would be highly desirable, alongside a good understanding of managing institutional and philanthropic funding and distributing grants to partner organizations.

  • Managing restricted funds and donor reporting.
  • Monitoring grantee budgets, expenditure, and compliance.
  • Conducting proportionate financial due diligence and risk assessments.
  • Reviewing financial reports and supporting grantees to address emerging issues.
  • Supporting funding proposals, budgets, and financial forecasts.
  • Working closely with programme, grants, and fundraising teams to ensure effective stewardship of donor funds.
  • Supporting audits, donor reviews, and other assurance processes.

The successful candidate will combine sound financial judgement, strong attention to detail, and excellent stakeholder management skills. They will be comfortable balancing robust financial oversight with a practical, supportive, and partner-centred approach.

Experience of multi-donor funding, international grant-making, foreign currency transactions, and working with locally led civil society organizations would be an advantage.
