Finance Manager
Location: Hybrid
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Finance Manager to join a growing organisation and play a key role in leading financial reporting, strengthening controls, and supporting the ongoing development of the finance function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys improving processes, partnering with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement within a dynamic business environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining a strong control environment, and supporting wider finance transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the month-end close process and ensuring the delivery of accurate financial reporting
- Reviewing journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and management information
- Maintaining robust financial controls and identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Supporting external audits and statutory reporting requirements
- Developing and enhancing finance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Partnering with finance and operational stakeholders to provide technical accounting guidance and financial insight
- Supporting finance transformation projects, systems improvements, and process automation initiatives
- Assisting budgeting and forecasting processes through strong financial oversight and reporting

About You
We are looking for a proactive and commercially aware finance professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills.
You will ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience
- Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting external audits
- Excellent balance sheet control and reconciliation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Advanced Excel skills
- The ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and external advisors
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for enhancing financial processes and controls

- Experience within a multi-site, complex, or growing organisation
- Group consolidation experience
- Exposure to finance transformation projects
- Experience improving reporting, controls, and finance systems
