An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified Finance Manager to join a rapidly growing financial services business as it enters its next stage of development.
The business has experienced significant growth over the last few years, with turnover increasing substantially and ambitious plans in place to continue expanding over the coming years.
This is a newly created position reporting directly to the Finance Director, with responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day transactional finance function and managing a small team.
It's a role that offers plenty of scope to make an impact. Rather than simply inheriting established processes, you'll have the opportunity to improve controls, introduce efficiencies and help shape the finance function as the business grows.
The Role
You'll take ownership of a broad range of financial responsibilities, combining strong technical accounting with commercial exposure and team leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
