Finance Manager
Taxiworld Group (jump & jumpOUT)
Location: London (Tottenham Hale / King's Cross)
Reports to: Founder
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About Us
Taxiworld is the group behind jump the app, a ride-hailing app for London's black cabs that takes no commission from drivers, and jumpOUT an out-of-home (OOH) media company that wraps black cabs with brand advertising. We're an early-stage, fast-moving business building a better deal for drivers and a new advertising channel for brands across London. As we grow, we're looking for a hands-on Finance Controller to build out our financial operations and controls.
The Role
This is a broad, hands-on finance role for someone who's comfortable owning the numbers end-to-end at an early-stage company - from day-to-day bookkeeping and cash management through to management accounts, budgeting and reporting to the founder. You'll work closely with the founder and act as the go-to person for all things finance across the group's entities (Taxiworld jump and jumpOUT), helping put in place the processes and controls needed as the business scales.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
