Finance Manager
London | Hybrid Working
Insurance – MGA
£80-90,000 PA
JSS are confidentially supporting a fast-growing, specialist multi-line MGA with the hire of a Finance Manager to help build a finance function from the ground up inside an early-stage, well-capitalised MGA.
Responsibilities
- Trusted deputy to the CFO, helping shape finance strategy, budgeting and long-term planning
- Own/support management accounts, board reporting, and financial statements
- Support premium, claims and reinsurance transaction accounting across multiple specialty lines
- Drive automation and finance systems implementation as the platform scales
- Support governance, regulatory reporting and audit processes
- Help build and lead the finance team as headcount grows
- Act as a key point of contact for underwriting, operations, and external capacity/audit partners

Personal Profile
- Recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) either from either insurance or scale up organisations
- Track record supporting or building finance functions in an early-stage or scaling environment
- Comfortable in a hands-on "build" environment with evolving processes
- Confident stakeholder manager, credible with a CFO and senior leadership
