The Andusia group is the UK’s leading providers of supply chain services for Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) producers and incinerators. The company has strong partnerships with premier waste-to-energy facilities across Europe and Scandinavia, as well as many independent UK waste management companies.

Through efficient logistics and innovative solutions, the business has expanded into new geographic markets and now also exports SRF to cement plants throughout Europe, as well as waste wood, hazardous and clinical waste.
The organisation is open to new and unusual requirements and actively collaborates with professional material suppliers and recovery plants seeking export routes for RDF and related materials.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Finance Manager role based in Hertford. The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting for the business. The role involves monitoring project and contract profitability, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate and timely weekly, month-end and year-end close processes.

The Finance Manager will support senior leadership with financial analysis, contribute to strategic planning, and provide insight into cost efficiency and margin improvement. Responsibilities also include maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, managing relationships with auditors and external advisors, and optimising financial systems and processes to support growth.

Qualifications
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, management accounts, and variance analysis.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP software.
- Ability to analyse complex data, prepare clear reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Experience in waste management, logistics, energy, or related sectors is beneficial.
- Recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent professional experience.
