Finance Manager

Part-time (18–20 hours per week) | Hybrid – Dundee
Permanent, Salaried

Our client is looking for a capable, self-motivated Finance Manager, working on a part-time basis, to take full ownership of the finance function within one of their subsidiary businesses. This is a stand-alone role. You'll run your own book and be the go-to person for all things finance in this part of the business, while being supported by the wider structure of an established manufacturing group. It's an ideal opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified accountant who enjoys variety, autonomy, and seeing the full picture, and who wants a flexible, part-time role. You will be able to choose your weekly hours / days to suit your schedule.

  • Month-end management accounts: preparing accurate and timely monthly accounts for the business.
  • Cash flow management and control: owning the weekly cash flow and making sure the business's cash position is closely monitored and controlled.
  • Tenant invoicing and credit control: raising all invoices and managing collections to keep debtors under control.
  • Purchase ledger and payment control: recording all purchase costs on the ledger and managing supplier payments.
  • Bookkeeping: carrying out all day-to-day bookkeeping to keep the records complete and up to date.

What we're looking for

  • A part-qualified (PQ) or fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ICAS, or equivalent).
  • Confidence working independently and taking full responsibility for a set of accounts.
  • Hands-on experience across management accounts, cash flow, sales, and purchase ledgers, and credit control.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload and deadlines.
  • Experience in a group or multi-entity environment would be an advantage.
