About RD
RD is a global group headquartered in London, operating across creative production, studio facilities, and equipment rental. RD Content, our production company, produces world-class films, commercials, and branded content for major brands across the world. Alongside RD Content, the group includes:
- RD Studios – London's premier film studio facility
- RD Rentals and a recent acquisition – camera, lighting, and production equipment rental
- International offices in New York, Abu Dhabi, and Singapore
We are a fast-growing group operating across multiple jurisdictions with real financial complexity. This role sits within RD Content, our production business, based at our Holborn office.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the later stages of their accounting qualification - ideally within the last 12 to 18 months of completing their exams - or for someone with hands-on finance experience who is ready to step up into a Finance Manager position for the first time.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be involved in month-end close, management accounts, cashflow, payroll, and project-level reporting across RD Content and the wider group. Over time, you will take on greater ownership of these areas as you develop in the role. You will also support the development of a small finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations
- Assist with day-to-day financial operations including bank reconciliations, purchase to pay, client invoicing, and fixed asset register maintenance.
- Manage bank accounts and payment platforms across HSBC, Revolut, and Confirma; support timely supplier settlements.
- Work with the Finance Director to review and improve finance processes across RD Content and group subsidiaries.
- Support and help develop the Finance Assistant.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
