Finance Manager

The Opportunity

Our client is a rapidly growing international technology business operating at the forefront of data, analytics and AI-driven solutions. Following continued global expansion, they are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join their high-performing finance team.

This position would suit a recently qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with 1-2 years' post-qualified experience. The role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, controls, process improvement and business partnering within a fast-paced and commercially focused environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant looking to accelerate their career in a high-growth business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting analysis.
  • Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audit coordination.
  • Support the consolidation of multiple entities across an international group structure.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and review of key accounting areas.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Operations and Technology teams.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and scalability.
  • Support finance transformation and systems enhancement projects.
  • Assist with cash flow reporting and working capital management.
  • Provide analysis and insight to support senior management decision-making.
  • Ad hoc project work as the business continues to scale internationally.

Candidate Profile

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
  • Ideally trained within a Top 20 accountancy practice.
  • 1-2 years' post-qualified experience.
  • First move from practice into industry, or recently transitioned into industry.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Experience working with audits and statutory reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
  • Curious, proactive and commercially minded.
  • Able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
