❓❓ Who Are We ❓❓

Autus3 are excited to be partnering exclusively with a dynamic UK not-for-profit events organisation that brings people together through impactful, community-focused experiences. With a strong mission at its core and an ambitious programme of growth ahead, the organisation is entering a transformative phase. To support this evolution, they are seeking an experienced finance professional to join on a 8 -12 Month FTC and play a key role in shaping the financial direction of the year ahead.

🫵 About You 🫵

  • You’re a qualified finance professional with solid experience as a Financial Accountant or Finance Manager — someone who thrives on improving processes and bringing clarity to a growing organisation.
  • The ideal candidate would be on a short notice period or immediately available to the market.
  • You adapt quickly, communicate well, and naturally build strong relationships with colleagues across different teams and functions.
  • You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to finding smarter, more efficient ways of working.
  • Month-end and year-end cycles are familiar territory, and you bring accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail to everything you do.
  • Most importantly, you’re motivated by purpose as well as performance — and you want to use your expertise to contribute to an organisation that delivers meaningful, community-driven events.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
