Fame Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established charity with UK and international operations, including subsidiaries in Israel, in the recruitment of a Finance Manager.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the finance function, supervising a small team while supporting the Finance Director across all aspects of financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a finance team of two.
- Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities across the Charity Group.
- Oversee the day-to-day transactional finance function, including purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts across the Group.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting.
- Prepare VAT returns, payroll journals and other statutory submissions.
- Produce financial reports, analysis and commentary for the Finance Director.
- Ensure accurate accounting records are maintained using Xero.
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC, Companies House and Charity Commission requirements.

Candidate Requirements
- Part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
- Previous charity finance experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of charity accounting principles, including restricted funds.
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring a small finance team.
- Essential experience using Xero.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
