You'll join a small, fast-paced finance team and have the opportunity to help improve processes, systems, and reporting as the business continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
As the Finance Manager, you will be:
- Owning the end-to-end month-end close and delivering accurate and timely Group reporting
- Leading the preparation and review of P&L, balance sheet, reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Managing working capital, cash collection, and aged debt, working closely with the wider finance team
- Ensuring robust revenue recognition, accruals, deferred revenue, and balance sheet controls
- Supporting the Finance Director with annual budgets, forecasts, financial modelling, and wider FP&A activity
- Partnering with sales, marketing, and operations to provide commercial insight around revenue, costs, margins, and profitability
- Overseeing key elements of the UK audit, VAT, and corporation tax processes and ensuring statutory requirements are met
- Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting, and systems, including supporting the ongoing development and adoption of ERP technology
- Providing leadership and guidance to junior members of the finance team, with the opportunity to take on broader management responsibility
- Deputising for the Finance Director when required, with the potential for longer-term progression

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
