FP&A Manager - Hertfordshire

JSS are pleased to be supporting our client based in Hertfordshire on the recruitment of a new FP&A Manager role. This is an ideal for someone experienced in FP&A at a senior or manager level in a large fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a high-calibre FP&A Manager to lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across a dynamic and growing business. Reporting to the Head of Group FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, delivering insightful analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.
  • Lead the Group budget process, coordinating submissions from multiple business units and consolidating financial plans.
  • Own the reforecasting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting of revenue, costs, cash flow, and profitability.
  • Deliver variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year performance, identifying key risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with operational and commercial leaders to challenge assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business cases.
  • Analyse key business drivers, trends, and KPIs to support performance improvement.
  • Support long-term planning and scenario modelling activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement of planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and provide insight into financial performance across the Group.

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) 2-5 years post qualified
  • Proven FP&A experience within a multi-site, corporate, or group finance environment.
  • Strong experience leading annual budgeting and quarterly/monthly forecasting processes.
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate financial information into clear business insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leadership teams.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities; experience with Power BI
