We are exclusively supporting a well-established and growing group business to recruit a talented Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function across multiple operational sites. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, providing meaningful commercial insight and helping to drive business performance.
The Opportunity
Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in supporting operational and strategic decision-making. Working collaboratively with site leadership teams, you will be responsible for delivering robust financial reporting, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing valuable analysis to support future growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
- Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle
- Revenue, margin and cost analysis across customers and operations
- Supporting financial planning and profitability improvement initiatives
- Providing commercial insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of accurate financial records
- Quarterly VAT returns and year-end audit support
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and cost control
- Leading, developing and motivating a well-established finance team of 2

About You
You will be an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional with experience in management accounting and financial analysis. Applications are welcomed from qualified accountants (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) as well as strong part-qualified candidates with relevant experience. You will also demonstrate:
- Strong financial reporting and analytical capabilities
- Experience of budgeting, forecasting and cost management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise
- A proactive approach with the ability to influence operational decision-making
- A collaborative mindset and desire to drive continuous improvement
What's on Offer
- Annual salary up to £55,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Full-time permanent role, 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday - flexibility with start and finish times
- Company pension scheme
- DIS x 2 times salary
