Hours: Full time, 8.30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday

St Joseph’s College are seeking a proactive Finance Manager to play a key role in delivering an efficient, high-quality finance service. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively, leading a team, and making a meaningful contribution within a dynamic educational environment.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead the college's day-to-day finance function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, the timely production of management accounts and statutory returns, and the delivery of exceptional financial support across the college. You will have direct line management responsibility for two finance assistants and a credit controller, providing leadership, support, and development to ensure a responsive and effective finance team.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the college's day-to-day finance function
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Produce management accounts and statutory returns in a timely manner
- Deliver exceptional financial support across the college
- Manage and develop a team of finance assistants and a credit controller
Qualifications and Skills:
- Highly organised, analytical, and confident managing multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Sound financial judgement
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
