Based Glasgow (Hybrid), Finance Manager, Salary £65K + Benefits

Our client is a well-established, values-led organisation operating within a complex, regulated environment and delivering essential services across Scotland.

As part of its ongoing development, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the organisation.

Working closely with the Director of Finance, you will help drive financial sustainability, improve commercial decision-making and modernise finance processes and systems. The successful candidate will be expected to challenge the status quo, develop stronger business intelligence and provide meaningful insight that supports strategic and operational decision-making.

Your role will include:

  • Transforming management information into insight-led reporting.
  • Strengthening financial planning, forecasting and business partnering.
  • Enhancing commercial capability and financial performance.
  • Supporting the implementation and development of finance systems.
  • Improving reporting, business intelligence and decision support.
  • Building and developing a high-performing finance team.
  • Contributing to wider organisational strategy as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

This role requires someone who can operate comfortably between strategy and delivery, providing clear financial leadership whilst remaining hands-on when required.

About You

We are interested in speaking with finance leaders who combine strong technical capability with commercial awareness, leadership skills and a genuine passion for organisational improvement.

You will ideally bring:

  • A professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) but candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered.
  • Strong experience leading finance teams and developing people, this is very important that you can lead and develop people.
  • Experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, you will need the ability to interpret data and turn information into meaningful business insight.
  • A track record of improving processes, controls and reporting. You will be used to business improvement projects that add value.
