Finance Manager (Client of BKL)
Location: London West End | Hybrid working | Full-time
We are working with a long-standing and valued client to appoint a hands-on Finance Manager to support the financial management of a family-owned property group.
The Group comprises over 20 family-owned entities, structured across partnerships, limited companies and trusts. The business focuses on property investment with some retained development activity. Income generated through a mix of short-term and long-term residential and commercial tenancies. The combined turnover of the related entities is between £5-£10 million.
This is a varied role with broad exposure across the various entities, but it remains very much hands-on. You will work closely with the family, supporting the delivery of financial and tax matters, and will be supported by a small remote back-office team.

Key responsibilities:
- Supporting all financial and tax matters across the related entities
- Assisting with optimisation of the owners’ tax position in line with the agreed planning structure
- Preparing information in order for the corporate and family tax returns to be prepared
- Managing annual accounts process and filing across multiple entities and working with BKL to ensure completion
- Supporting quarterly HMRC submissions for income tax and VAT
- Providing financial oversight across a diverse group structure
- Supporting oversight of a small remote team, including elements of administration, document management and third-party IT coordination
- Liaising with property management in relation to issues arising in the various properties

Candidate profile:
- Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA accountant with a degree, ideally trained in practice
- Approximately 7 years’ post-qualified experience
- Experience in owner-managed or family-run environments
- Experience within the property sector not essential but would be preferred
- Personal tax and property tax experience would be advantageous
- Motivated by adding value through experience and expertise, and comfortable operating in a stable, relationship-driven environment
- Experience with Yardi would be beneficial
