A market leading manufacturing business is seeking a Finance Manager to join its growing finance team. Part of a larger international group, the business has continued to expand through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, giving it a strong market position and exciting future prospects
Your new role
In your new role you will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of a fast-paced manufacturing operation that forms part of a larger group. Working closely with both finance and operational leaders, you will be responsible for producing accurate monthly management accounts, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, analysing costs and margins, and providing meaningful financial insight to support decision making. The role will involve business partnering with stakeholders across the site, overseeing inventory and stock accounting, monitoring KPIs, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls. You will also support the development of the finance team while ensuring compliance with group reporting requirements and financial governance standards.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with previous experience in a manufacturing or retail SME environment. You will have a strong grounding in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, coupled with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful commercial insight for operational stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and experience of cost accounting, stock management and financial controls will be highly advantageous. Just as importantly, you'll be a proactive and personable communicator who enjoys working closely with colleagues across the business and identifying opportunities to drive performance and continuous improvement.
