About The Role
We are looking for a Finance Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment and enjoys improving the way finance operates. This is an opportunity for someone who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a passion for transformation, automation and continuous improvement.
You'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting whilst leading initiatives to streamline processes, improve controls, implement new systems and enhance the overall finance operating model. We are looking for someone who naturally challenges existing ways of working, identifies opportunities for improvement and delivers scalable solutions that enable the business to grow.
What You'll Be Doing
Financial Management
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare consolidated management accounts across multiple entities and currencies.
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and maintain a strong financial control environment.
- Support statutory reporting and external audits.
- Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations and settlements across the Group.
- Ensure transfer pricing processes are accurately reflected within the finance function.
- Support treasury and cash management activities where required.

Finance Transformation & Process Improvement
- Drive automation across finance processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy – partner with other departments to help drive this change.
- Lead finance systems implementation and optimisation projects.
- Improve integration between finance systems and wider business platforms, ensuring systems communicate effectively and data flows seamlessly.
- Identify inefficient processes, challenge existing practices and implement scalable improvements.
- Develop reporting dashboards and automated workflows to provide greater insight and efficiency.
- Build strong relationships across Finance, Technology and Operations.
Essential Experience
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA preferred).
- Experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Financial Accountant, looking to step up, within a complex business.
- A clear focus on being a change agent—implementing finance systems, improving integrations, automating manual processes, and challenging the status quo rather than maintaining existing processes.
- Regular interaction with external audit teams, leading audits and statutory reporting.
- Strong intercompany accounting experience across multiple legal entities.
- Experience preparing consolidated accounts.
- Knowledge of multi-currency accounting.
- Experience implementing or improving finance systems.
- Demonstrable experience automating finance processes and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of financial controls and governance.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders and departments.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong systems capability.

Highly Desirable
- Experience with transfer pricing.
- Exposure to regulated environments.
- Experience with finance transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of system integrations, APIs or finance technology systems.
- Insurance, fintech or financial services experience is ideal.
