Finance Manager
We are seeking a commercially driven Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, controls, and performance insights across multiple revenue-generating and operational business units. This is a key leadership role responsible for enabling strategic decision-making, improving financial performance, and driving process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a small finance team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
- Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple business units
- Ensure strong financial controls, including accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyse financial performance, challenge variances, and deliver clear, actionable insights
- Support rolling forecasts, identifying risks, opportunities, and key business drivers
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to operational leaders, providing commercial guidance and challenge
- Identify and deliver cost optimisation and margin improvement initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, systems, and internal controls
- Support strategic projects and provide ad hoc financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, including information security and governance standards

About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, multi-site or operational environment
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercially minded, with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with financial systems (ERP exposure preferred)
