We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team and take ownership of our day-to-day finance function.

About the Role
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the numbers and understanding how a business really works.
- You'll be responsible for keeping our accounting function accurate, organised, and well controlled, working closely with our Finance Director and the wider management team.
- We're looking for someone who takes pride in getting things right, is curious when something doesn't look quite right, and enjoys taking ownership rather than simply processing transactions.
You'll have plenty of opportunity to learn and develop as the business grows, with exposure to areas including management accounts, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and commercial decision-making.
We’re looking for someone with strong practical accounting experience who is confident working with Xero and Excel.
Detailed Duties & Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day function
- Manage month-end accounting
- Maintain Xero and finance systems
- Monitor cash flow and help maintain strong financial control
- Support budgeting and forecasting
- Provide financial analysis and insight
- Maintain strong financial controls and processes
- Work closely with the directors and management team, supporting year-end accounts, VAT, and other financial and statutory requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive experience using Xero is a pre-requisite skill for this role.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- AAT, ACCA, or CIMA useful but not essential
- Experience within brewing, manufacturing, FMCG, or hospitality
