Senior Finance Manager
As Senior Finance Manager, you will lead a Financial Accounting team and ensure the delivery of accurate, robust and timely financial information across a complex international group.
Client Details
Michael Page Finance is partnering with one of our key clients, a large, complex international organisation, to recruit a Senior Finance Manager into its central finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take a senior leadership role within a sophisticated group environment, with responsibility for financial accounting, reporting, controls and a team of finance professionals.
Description
- Lead and develop a team within the Financial Accounting function.
- Oversee monthly financial accounting and reporting activities.
- Ensure robust balance sheet governance, reconciliations and working capital reporting.
- Manage intercompany, affiliate, fixed asset, inventory and lease accounting.
- Oversee cash, bank and treasury-related accounting activities.
- Support group consolidation and monthly reporting to the parent company.
- Lead the preparation of UK and international statutory accounts.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls, accounting policies and wider governance requirements.
- Work closely with Financial Control, Treasury, Company Secretarial and external auditors.
- Identify and deliver continuous improvements across processes, controls and reporting.

Profile
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with 3+ years' post-qualified experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, with US GAAP exposure desirable.
- Experience within a large or complex corporate/group environment.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Experience preparing or auditing UK statutory accounts under IFRS, FRS 101 or FRS 102.
- Previous experience managing and developing a finance team.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to challenge existing processes.
