Reporting to: Finance Director
Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to oversee our finance function across two locations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial information through to management accounts level, while maintaining strong financial controls and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the finance team across two locations.
- Oversee monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Manage month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review and approve supplier invoices and payment runs.
- Oversee payroll and wage processing.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Maintain robust financial controls and compliance processes.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and procedures.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

About You:
- Proven experience in a finance leadership, supervisory, or senior finance role.
- Strong understanding of management accounts, financial controls, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience overseeing payroll, VAT returns, purchase ledger, and payment processes.
- ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified/part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Strong Excel and ERP/accounting system skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
