Finance Manager – High-Growth Business

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, ambitious business at an important stage of its development. The business has strong backing, ambitious growth plans, and a leadership team focused on building a high-performing organization for the long term.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll have a broad remit across finance and the wider business. This is a hands-on Finance Manager position where you’ll have genuine ownership, influence, and the opportunity to contribute to key commercial decisions as the business continues to grow.

The role offers considerably more exposure than a traditional Finance Manager position. Alongside owning core financial reporting, you’ll be involved in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, commercial analysis, business performance, and strategic projects, giving you the opportunity to develop into a senior finance leader as the business scales.

It’s particularly well suited to an ambitious qualified or finalist ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant who wants to take ownership of a finance function, broaden their commercial experience, and work in an environment where they can make a visible impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
