Fin Search is recruiting a Finance Manager on a permanent basis for a private equity backed, well performing business based in Bradford.
About the Role
As Finance Manager, this role will report into an excellent ACA qualified Financial Controller, responsible for owning the month end close across the business' project based entities to include WIP, deferred income and revenue recognition. This role will also develop and manage 2 members of staff.
This is an unrivalled opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded accountant looking for a role in a fast paced private equity business with clear opportunity to add real value and continuously improve.

Duties
- Prepare monthly management accounts to include variance analysis and supporting commentary
- Variance vs budget and forecast
- VAT and CIS returns
- Manage the accounting for WIP
- Produce and review robust balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and support group statutory reporting
- Review project performance
- Act as a finance business partner to project managers and senior stakeholders to provide relevant and insightful commercial analysis

Requirements
- Be ACA/ACCA qualified
- Have a strong technical accounting background
- Have strong Excel skills
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to challenge and influence stakeholders
Compensation
£60,000 - £65,000 + 23 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) increasing to 26 days with service + life assurance + private health and cash plan + free on site parking + opportunity to work from home a day or so each week
