Interim Finance Manager

£55,000 annual full-time equivalent.

1 or 2 days a week so c£22,000 per annum

Key tasks

• Review financial information and prepare monthly reports for management and the board
• Manage audit and accounting processes, tax returns and banking for each legal entity
• Supervise day to day financial operations including payroll, invoicing, payments and expenses, banking and recordkeeping
• Line manage the Finance Officer, providing clear direction, support and supervision, overseeing workload and priorities, and supporting their performance and professional development
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet the organisation's operational needs
• Provide insightful information to the CEO and senior management team to aid in short- and long-term decision making and strategic planning
• Support the CEO and senior management team with preparation of the annual budget
• Ensure that restricted funds are appropriately monitored, allocated and reported
• Establish, maintain and regularly review appropriate financial policies, procedures and controls
• Understand and ensure adherence to financial regulations in each relevant jurisdiction where the organisation operates on an ongoing basis and for particular events such as the international conference
• Undertake other reasonable duties appropriate to the role, as required by the line manager or CEO
