Finance Manager - UK

We're retained on a crucial FM hire with a global payments fintech that are tripling headcount this year (150 by end of year) and opening offices globally.

The founder is well-known having founded and scaled a payments fintech to $1bn+ valuation.

Why Join?

  • Rare cross-functional scope: FP&A, Treasury, financial control—no silos.
  • True autonomy, no micromanagement, hands-on from day one.
  • High-growth moment: 11 entities expanding, infrastructure-scale clearing ambition, laser-focused leadership.
  • Shape UK finance; global/multi-jurisdictional exposure peers won't touch for years.
  • Strong "good people in the trenches" team.

The Problem This Role Solves

The finance team currently consists of an FD and Finance Manager (APAC focused). With 11 entities live, bank recs, payment runs, month-ends, client requests, audits, and filings have exploded. They need a UK-based operator to own UK entity ops. The UK entity is freshly opened.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
