Lloyd Barnes is currently partnering exclusively with an established manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Finance Manager, on a full-time, permanent basis. This senior role sits at the heart of the finance function, working closely with the Finance Director, finance colleagues, and operational stakeholders to support commercial decision-making and drive continuous improvement across finance processes and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and board-level reporting packs.
• Provide leadership and development to the management accounting team, including oversight of day-to-day transactional processing activities.
• Partner with commercial stakeholders to deliver profitability insights, evaluate new product costs, and support pricing and strategic decision-making.
• Conduct regular balance sheet reviews to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial positions.
• Coordinate year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements, including timely resolution of audit queries and support for corporation tax computations.
• Own the annual overhead absorption model and deliver monthly overhead performance analysis by cost centre.
• Responsibility for the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting cycle, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business targets.
• Perform month-end foreign exchange revaluations and ensure accurate treatment of currency movements.
• Oversee inventory data quality to support reliable stock valuation and reporting.
