Role: Finance Manager

Sector: Events Agency

Location: Central London

Hybrid: 3 days

Salary: £55,000

Reporting to: Financial Controller

Ref: VFR 3320

Vision FR is working with a dynamic, very fast paced, growing, & energetic creative agency based in to find a Finance Manager. This role will include month end close, bank reconciliations, WIP and credit control together with and other adhoc reporting for the FC and the CFO. The right will be an experienced. Ideally the Finance Manager will be experienced with Paprika accounting software. The right candidate will need to prove they have worked in a very fast-paced environment, can multitask and are hardworking, proactive and a self-starter. They need to understand the accounting principles of accrued and deferred income and revenue recognition. The agency is fun and team spirited but works at pace.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager

  • Month end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations - income forecasting - debtor analysis
  • Support & work closely with the Financial Controller
  • Undertake timely & Accurate Client billing on multi Clients
  • WIP & job reconciliation using paprika - liaising with Account Management
  • Review Client Budgets against actual / expected spend
  • Responsible for the Management of supplier payments v Receipts in from Clients
  • Daily bank reconciliation, posting receipts & filing remittance from the client
  • Payment runs – support with selection of payments & checking payment details
  • Monthly review of staff expenses ensuring all job related costs are authorised & accurately recorded on jobs
  • Monthly review of corporate credit card postings, ensuring all job costs are authorised and accurately recorded
  • Credit control ensuring clients are paying on time and alerting any problem quickly
  • Reconciliation of Debtors ledger
