Lusona are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-known Construction organisation in Lanarkshire to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

Our client are a highly successful organisation with a multi-site environment across the UK. Working in a fast-paced project-focused environment, our client offers a dynamic and rewarding environment suited to a commercial accountant looking to take the next steps in their career. Offering a hybrid environment with benefits including 5% company pension, private healthcare, bonus structure, and competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum. This role would suit a recently Qualified or 1-2 years PQE within ACCA, CA, CIMA with a desire to grow with the business over the long term.

About the Role

The Finance Manager will lead on technical and commercial finance activities across the business including the Production of Statutory Accounts under FRS and year-end audit. The Finance Manager will be responsible for producing management accounts and assessing budgets and forecasts in line with expectations with detailed commentary and analysis on project movements. You will be responsible for overseeing CIS and VAT returns across a series of projects and working with the transactional team to ensure accuracy and attention to detail across the end-end accounting process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on technical and commercial finance activities across the business.
