Interim Finance Manager
Location: London (5 days per week in office)
Salary: £55,000–£60,000 + 10% completion bonus
Contract: 6 months, with possibility to extend
An international consumer business is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of finance for its US region on a fixed-term contract. This is a lean, fast-moving environment where the transactional work matters just as much as clear reporting and analysis.
You’ll manage two experienced team members across transactional finance, while working closely with the wider finance team. With an immediate start required, this would suit someone who can get up to speed quickly and is happy to roll up their sleeves – whether someone you have prior industry experience or are looking for your first role post-audit.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
