Alexander Daniels are partnering with a well-established, international manufacturing business to recruit a Finance Manager.

This organisation operates across multiple global markets and is recognised for delivering high-quality, innovative and sustainable products to a premium customer base.

With continued investment and growth in the UK, the business is now looking for a hands-on and proactive finance professional to play a key role in driving process improvement, strengthening financial controls, and leading and developing a small team.

The Opportunity

Reporting into a world class Finance Director, this is a hands-on and highly visible role within a business undergoing positive transformation. You will take ownership of core finance activities while helping modernise systems and processes, making a genuine impact on performance and efficiency.

Alongside managing day-to-day finance operations, you will support and develop a small team and collaborate closely with non-finance stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Produce management accounts, including insightful variance analysis and commentary
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies, including automation
  • Drive the transition away from manual processes and enhance finance systems
  • Supervise and develop a small finance team
  • Partner with operational teams to support commercial decision-making
  • Support ongoing system implementation and development projects
  • Maintain strong financial controls and compliance

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience
  • Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role
  • Background in manufacturing or a similar environment is essential
  • Proactive and confident, with the ability to challenge and drive change
  • Comfortable working in a changing and evolving environment
  • Strong systems capability, including advanced Excel skills
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members
  • Ambitious, with a desire to make a meaningful impact and grow your career
