Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Central London

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

About BGIS

BGIS is a leading provider of integrated facilities management and real estate services, supporting clients across commercial, public sector and institutional environments. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take financial ownership of a major client account based in Central London.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, client-facing position where you will be responsible for the financial performance of a key contract. Working closely with operational leadership, you will provide financial insight, drive commercial performance and act as the main point of contact for all client finance matters.

You will lead a small finance team and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, contract renewals, commercial variations and monthly financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall financial performance and profitability of the contract.
  • Deliver accurate monthly reporting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Act as the primary financial contact for the client and their consultants.
  • Lead the financial aspects of contract renewals and business planning activities.
  • Manage variation orders, ensuring accurate costing, pricing and margin analysis.
  • Work closely with operational teams to identify risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure revenue is captured, billed and recovered in a timely manner.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and governance across the account.
  • Lead, coach and develop members of the finance team.
  • Support the annual budgeting and planning process.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Commercial Finance or Contract Finance role.
  • Strong experience working within a service delivery, facilities management, engineering, property or project-based environment.
  • Experience managing client relationships and presenting financial information to stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience in pricing, forecasting and contract management.
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities.

Desirable

  • Facilities Management, Property Services, Engineering or Construction industry experience.
  • Experience managing contracts or portfolios with revenues exceeding £10m.
  • Experience supporting contract renewals, mobilisation projects or commercial tenders.
