Finance Manager | 4-Month Contract | London | £50,000–£55,000
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join the central team of an ambitious multi-academy trust on an initial 4-month contract.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a senior role and make an immediate impact, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team. We are only considering candidates who are immediately available.
The Role Will Include:
- Leading and managing the finance function and team
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Financial reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders
- Ensuring robust financial controls and regulatory compliance
- Managing statutory and regulatory returns
- Acting as a key contact for internal and external auditors
- Overseeing payroll, expenditure and payment processes
- Supporting commercial decisions and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency
- Providing strategic financial advice to senior leadership

We're Looking for Someone with:
- Strong senior-level finance experience
- Extensive budgeting and financial management experience
- Experience managing a finance team
- Excellent understanding of financial controls and reporting
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- The ability to quickly establish themselves and work confidently with senior stakeholders
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines
