A fantastic opportunity for an ACA-qualified accountant to move into a well-renowned Group, gaining broad exposure across consolidation, technical accounting, statutory reporting, M&A, and Group projects.
Client Details
A company within the retail industry, based in Warwick. This is a large, well-established UK-based specialist group with a significant national footprint and a complex, multi-entity structure.
The business continues to evolve through acquisition and growth, making this an excellent opportunity to gain genuine exposure across Group Finance, consolidation, technical accounting, M&A, and senior stakeholder management within a highly regarded organisation.
Description
- Support Group monthly reporting across multiple entities
- Prepare and review consolidation workings and statutory accounts
- Provide support on technical accounting and GAAP gap analysis
- Assist with external audit, accounting standards, and reporting requirements
- Gain exposure to M&A, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration
- Support holding company accounting, dividends, and foreign currency accounting
- Work closely with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal
- Provide support on Group Finance projects and process improvements
- Strong exposure to senior stakeholders and Group Finance

Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software.
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Job Offer
- Salary between £55,000 and £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Bonus scheme.
