About the Company
We are partnering with a well-established and respected organisation seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join their finance team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, controls, and team leadership within a growing and dynamic business.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust controls, and supporting strategic business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts and reporting packs for senior stakeholders.
- Manage group reporting requirements and act as the key contact for Group Finance.
- Ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
- Lead the annual statutory audit process and manage relationships with external auditors.
- Maintain and enhance financial controls, compliance processes, and audit readiness.
- Oversee fixed asset accounting and IFRS 16 lease reporting.
- Ensure payroll and pension reporting is completed accurately and on time.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small finance team.
- Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial performance and control.

Qualifications
- ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Demonstrable experience in financial and management reporting.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial compliance requirements.
- Experience working within a group or multi-entity reporting environment.
- Previous team management or mentoring experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
