Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

These provide the main basis of the role but in addition there will be a number of ad hoc commercial duties aligned to the demands of the business. Due to the size and structure of the business and Finance team itself, there will be ongoing room for progression and development. With the level and variety of stakeholders you’ll be engaging with, the need to hold excellent communication skills in all forms will be absolutely paramount.

As highlighted above, this is an ideal opportunity for those who are looking for their first move into Industry and at this point we are only accepting applications from those who are currently in Practice and who have qualified in the last couple of years. Although those coming from an audit background will be considered, the ideal candidate will have hands on accounts prep. experience as opposed to purely audit experience. Only those who are fully qualified will be deemed suitable for the role.
