Finance Manager
Sharpsmart Finance team has an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the team. This role will focus on overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, and looking to make continuous improvements and ad hoc finance-based projects. This role will be based from our Spennymoor site 3-4 days per week with the option of working 1-2 days from home.
About the Role
- Leading the billing, income, and revenue department
- Liaising with various stakeholders externally and internally
- Reporting and analytical overviews to senior management and leadership on department performance and customer performances
- Ongoing support and development of policies and procedures
- Identifying opportunities to improve income, billing, and revenue strategies
- Reviewing and analyzing data to identify trends and areas of improvement
- Overseeing and providing leadership to a team of professionals
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Collaborating with other group international Finance managers on best practice
- Participating in ongoing UK finance strategic planning

Candidate Profile

- ACA or Degree qualified in a relevant finance-focused subject with a minimum of 5 years of practical work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Packages including Excel and other finance systems
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
