Finance Manager for International Interior Design Studio

Finance Manager Role Summary

A leading international interior design studio is looking for a Finance Manager to join its growing finance team in London. With an established presence in both the UK and US, the studio has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects internationally.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant looking to make their first move into industry. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will gain broad exposure across the business while playing a key role in the day-to-day financial management of three entities within the group.

The Role

You will support the Head of Finance in maintaining an efficient and well-controlled finance function, while providing accurate financial information and commercial insight to the wider business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts across three group entities.
  • Analysing financial performance, trends, and variances and presenting key findings.
  • Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
  • Working closely with department heads to provide financial and commercial insight.
  • Managing the aged payables ledger and overseeing supplier payments.
  • Preparing and issuing client invoices and proactively managing outstanding payments.
  • Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monitoring costs and supporting cost-control initiatives.
  • Liaising with external accountants and supporting year-end statutory reporting.
  • Reviewing and improving financial processes, systems, and reporting.
  • Providing ad hoc financial analysis and support to the Head of Finance.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant, ideally looking to make their first move into an industry environment.

You will have:

  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial data.
  • Previous experience using Xero is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive approach and genuine interest in improving processes.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.

Location: Central London
Working arrangement: Full time in the studio with the possibility to work from home one day per week.
