Finance Manager
£65,000–£70,000 per annum
London | Hybrid with 1–2 office days per week | Permanent
A growing Facilities Management business is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to lead its finance team and oversee day-to-day operations. This role offers broad responsibility for cash flow, reporting and project finances, with scope to improve processes and develop the team.
Duties
- Lead and mentor the finance team, maintaining accurate processing and efficient daily operations.
- Manage cash flow forecasts, liquidity, working capital and credit control.
- Prepare monthly management accounts with clear financial analysis and commentary.
- Oversee project costing, billing, valuations and forecasts against budgets and timelines.
- Approve purchase orders and supplier invoices, manage supplier relationships and improve commercial terms.
- Strengthen finance processes and internal controls, ensuring financial and tax compliance.
- Identify cost savings, manage overhead reduction initiatives and oversee accurate, timely payroll.

Ideal candidate profile

- Experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller with strong day-to-day finance and cash flow management skills.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Sound knowledge of financial management, budgeting and forecasting, with a record of improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- A hands-on, detail-oriented leader who can develop a team and communicate confidently across the business.
Package
- £65,000–£70,000 per annum.
- Hybrid working with 1–2 days per week in the office.
