Start Date: ASAP

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Finance Manager to join a growing finance team and take ownership of the operational finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, improving processes and taking ownership in an environment that is still developing. The current AP and AR processes are manual and fragmented, creating a genuine opportunity for the successful candidate to make a tangible impact.

You will manage the AP and AR functions, lead the operational finance team and work closely with the wider finance team and transformation resource to improve systems, controls and processes. Over time, the role will broaden into a wider Finance Manager remit, providing a clear pathway towards a Financial Controller-type position.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A recently qualified accountant or candidate with 1–2 years PQE could be considered, alongside candidates from audit or practice looking to move into a hands-on operational finance role. Most importantly, you will want to make a difference, improve the way finance operates and develop into a broader finance leadership position.

What's on Offer

This is a genuine development opportunity where you will have the autonomy to improve an imperfect finance operation and see the impact of your work. The intention is for the role to evolve beyond day-to-day operations, giving you exposure to wider finance and a clear route towards a Financial Controller-level position.
