A global alternative investment manager is seeking a qualified Finance Manager to join its European finance team. The role supports accurate financial reporting, strong operational controls and effective business partnering across the region.
The role is based in central London, around the Mayfair area. 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
The role
You will manage month‑end processes, maintain high‑quality financial records, deliver timely reporting and support tax, regulatory and compliance obligations. The role also contributes to budgeting, forecasting and process improvement initiatives, with a strong emphasis on leveraging automation and technology.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead an accurate and efficient month‑end close, including journals and key adjustments.
- Maintain balance sheet integrity through timely reconciliations.
- Produce monthly management packs with clear variance analysis and commentary.
- Support cash management, forecasting, funding requests and treasury administration.
- Assist with interim audit activity.
- Support annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term planning.
- Act as a proactive finance partner to stakeholders across the business.
- Support regulatory capital monitoring and quarterly regulatory submissions.
- Assist with transfer pricing documentation, intercompany recharges and cost allocations.
- Drive improvements across reporting processes, using automation, AI and ERP tools to streamline month‑end.

About you
- ACA qualified (first‑time passes), Big 4 trained.
- At least four years’ post‑qualification experience, including industry finance exposure.
- Strong financial control background with end‑to‑end financial statement preparation.
- Solid knowledge of FRS 102.
- Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with modern cloud‑based platforms advantageous.
- Exposure to regulated financial services or alternative investment management preferred.
