Finance and Accounts Manager

Fulham, London

We’re working with a growing London-based business to appoint an experienced Finance and Accounts Manager to take ownership of its day-to-day finance function while providing greater visibility around cash flow, forecasting and future performance.

This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys running the accounts function but is also comfortable looking beyond the numbers and supporting management with forward-looking financial information.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing day-to-day accounts, including invoices, payments, receipts and reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and overseeing bookkeeping
  • Managing employee expenses and supporting year-end accounts
  • Preparing and maintaining rolling cash flow forecasts
  • Supporting budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Producing regular reporting for senior management
  • Highlighting potential cash flow risks and providing greater visibility over future performance
  • Working with external accountants and other stakeholders across the wider business
  • Supporting improvements to financial processes and reporting as the company grows

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years’ experience within an accounts or finance role
  • Strong bookkeeping and accounts management experience
  • Experience producing cash flow forecasts and management reporting
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Confidence taking ownership of a broad finance remit
  • Strong Excel and general systems skills
  • A proactive, organised and hands-on approach

Experience within construction, property, design or a project-led environment would be advantageous but isn’t essential. Knowledge of Xero, CIS and construction VAT would also be useful.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Manager to join a growing business where the role can develop beyond transactional accounting into broader financial planning and commercial support.
