Job Overview:

The Finance Manager is a critical role for Strive Gaming, a leading B2B iGaming platform provider in North America with customers such as Golden Nugget (DraftKings), Playstar Casino, Delta Bingo & Casino, Four Winds, and beyond.

The role would suit someone who is able to focus on the day-to-day administration of a finance function as well as the more strategic financial planning and reporting, with the ability to contribute to corporate strategy decisions. The role would suit someone who is not afraid to get very hands-on operationally in the role as well as strategically.

The role has one financial administrator reporting into them and third parties to support in the relevant corporation locations of the UK, Malta, and Canada.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Responsible for accurate budgeting, forecasting, maintenance of overall company P&L, cashflow.
  • Support executives by driving board presentations and memo creation.
  • Strong financial planning to create maximum financial efficiencies for a group of companies working in between each other and with our clients.
  • Create sustainable and clearly measurable KPIs to track the health of the group of companies to present to the executive team every month.
  • Be responsible for all banking relationships including the establishing and good health maintenance of bank accounts and good stewardship globally as it pertains to all our subsidiaries.
  • Be responsible for an international payroll across multiple jurisdictions using specialist 3rd party providers.
  • Champion cost reduction initiatives, always looking for opportunities and challenging the business.
  • Be responsible for all invoicing and consolidation.
  • Source good financial tools that will help the business become more effective at internal business reporting, management accounting, business decision making through to the more administrative side such as expenses.
  • Support executives in any financial presentation and documentation for relevant clients or investors as may be required from time to time.
  • Lead continuous risk assessments from a financial and tax perspective – utilizing specialist third party assistance where need be.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant with 3+ years relevant post qualified experience
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Significant skill set in and proven experience in management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience for companies that have offices and customers in multiple different countries (experience working with USD, EUR, CAN, GBP currencies ideal).
  • Comfortable working in a high growth business where some staff wear multiple hats to get stuff done
  • Proven record of delivering cost reduction either through HR or Operations is highly desired
  • Knowledgeable on due diligence processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in the iGaming industry is a plus
