Workplace: Big Talk Studios, London - expectation is 2 days in the office. Part Time - 3 days per week across 4 days. Normal office working is Monday to Thursday with the option to work from home on Fridays. Office address: 26 Nassau Street, London, W1W 7AQ.

International Emmy Award winning Big Talk Studios is one of the world’s leading scripted television production companies. It has an unparalleled reputation for producing genre-defining British comedy and tonally distinctive, character-driven international drama.
The role
We are looking for a commercially minded and technically strong Finance Manager to work in Big Talk, a Scripted TV Production Label under the ITV Studios umbrella. This is a pivotal role that will focus on Management Reporting, Group Reporting, Control, and Business Partnering.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Professional qualification
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or part-qualified with significant relevant experience)
- Month-end and reporting experience
- Proven experience preparing full month-end accounts and management reporting packs
- Financial systems and Excel
- Strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups) and experience using accounting software (e.g. Sage or similar)
- Core financial processes
- Experience of at least three of the following: payroll, VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, cashflow forecasting
- Stakeholder communication
- Evidence of working with non-finance stakeholders and explaining financial information clearly

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- Experience in media, TV production or a similar fast-paced industry
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A proactive approach with a demonstrable ability to spot opportunities to improve and add value
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
- Confidence working in a deadline-driven, changing environment
