What You'll Do
You will play a critical role in partnering with the Business Planning team to drive the Annual Plan process, ensuring alignment and clear communication across Finance for 'one-version-of-the-truth' reporting. You will lead the adoption of the Project Delivery Framework, utilising tools like Planview to draw insightful narratives from the Transformation portfolio, identifying risks, opportunities, and dependencies to support decision-making at key leadership boards. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships across various stakeholders to drive consistent reporting, constructive challenge, and valuable insights, ultimately contributing to strategic decision-making and value protection within the business.

You are a professionally qualified accountant with a strategic mindset and a keen eye for detail. With your strong analytical skills and ability to navigate complex and ambiguous environments, you excel in translating financial data into actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making and protect business value. Your resilience, relationship-building capabilities, and storytelling prowess enable you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders of varying backgrounds, ensuring alignment, consistency, and constructive challenge across transformation activities. Your autonomy, prioritisation skills, and problem-solving abilities make you a valuable asset in leading the annual planning process, promoting the adoption of project management tools, and driving continuous improvement within the Finance function.

Essential Criteria
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Demonstrable experience using Excel and PowerPoint to analyse, interpret and present financial or business information
- Evidence of translating complex financial and business concepts into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for non-finance stakeholders
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across a range of seniority levels and commercial or financial backgrounds
- Demonstrable ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands, solve problems and deliver outcomes within changing or ambiguous environments
- Evidence of producing accurate, high-quality outputs with a high level of attention to detail
